Photography feedback

Photography feedback you can act on the same day

Most feedback is either too kind to be useful or too vague to act on. REVIEWR gives you structured photography feedback: six weighted category scores, written strengths and fixes, and a personalized action plan. Get 2 free critiques every day, resetting at midnight UTC, with optional one-time packs. No subscription or payment method is required to start.

Feedback you can act on

REVIEWR grades every photo against a published rubric — six weighted categories scored 1.0–10.0 with fixed anchor descriptors and genre-aware weighting — then explains the visible choices behind the scores and compares linked revisions.

What you get in every critique

  • Six weighted category scores on a 1.0–10.0 scale
  • Your biggest win — the strongest single decision in the frame
  • A focus category, flagged with the reason it is holding the photo back
  • Written strengths and specific, actionable fixes
  • A personalized action plan with improvement and editing suggestions
  • One free follow-up question per critique for anything unclear
  • A re-critique that measures the delta after you improve the shot

Feedback tuned to where you are

Choose one critique level: Beginner, Intermediate or Pro. It sets the standard your photo is graded against and how much is surfaced — Beginner names at most one improvement per category and is scored leniently, Intermediate up to two at a fair enthusiast bar, Pro up to three against a published professional bar. The rubric and the six categories are identical at every level; only the bar moves, and the same photo will score lower at Pro than at Beginner by design. Quests always run at Intermediate so entries stay comparable.

What the feedback covers

Every critique scores these six categories from 1.0 to 10.0 and combines them with the default weights below. Weighting shifts by genre — portraits lean harder on lighting, for example — but the categories never change.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I get honest feedback on my photos?

REVIEWR gives structured photography feedback in under a minute: six weighted category scores, written strengths and fixes, and a personalized action plan. You get 2 free critiques every day, with optional one-time packs for more, and the Pro critique level gives you the unvarnished version if that is what you want.

Is AI feedback better than posting in a photography group?

It is different. Groups give you opinions on the photos people happen to notice; a rubric gives you a consistent read on every photo you submit, immediately, with the same standard applied each time. Most photographers benefit from both.

How often should I ask for feedback?

Once per meaningful edit or shoot. REVIEWR gives you 2 free critiques a day, and re-critiquing an improved version shows the per-category delta so you can see whether the change actually helped.
