Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. About Reviewr
Reviewr is an AI-powered photography critique platform operated by Deni Dedic, based in Germany. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. Account Registration
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Reviewr
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person; accounts are non-transferable
- You must provide accurate information during registration
3. The Service
Reviewr provides AI-generated feedback on photographs to help photographers improve their skills. Our critiques are educational suggestions, not definitive judgments. Photography is subjective, and our AI analysis should be considered as one perspective among many.
4. User Content & Image Rights
By uploading any image to Reviewr — whether through your account, the anonymous preview, or any other entry point — you represent and warrant that:
- You are the sole author of the image, or you hold a valid licence or written permission from every rights-holder (photographer, agency, stock library) to upload, store, and have it analysed by an automated AI system.
- You have obtained any required model releases for identifiable people appearing in the image, and any required property releases for protected works, trademarks, or private property depicted.
- The image does not infringe any copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, moral, or other proprietary right of any third party, and does not breach any applicable law (including the GDPR and equivalent privacy regimes).
- By ticking the on-screen confirmation before submitting an image for critique, you make this representation as a binding legal statement on each upload.
Licence to Reviewr. You grant Reviewr a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transmit, and display the image strictly for the purpose of generating, delivering, and improving the critique service you requested (including transmission to our AI processor). You retain full ownership of and all moral rights in your photographs. We do not sell your images, and we do not use them to train third-party AI models.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reviewr, its operator, affiliates, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to (i) any image you upload, (ii) any breach of the warranties in this section, or (iii) any third-party claim of infringement of copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights connected to your uploads.
Enforcement. Uploading content you do not own or are not licensed to use is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate removal of the content, suspension or termination of your account without refund, and — where appropriate — referral to the relevant rights-holder or authorities.
5. Prohibited Content
You may not upload:
- Illegal content or content depicting illegal activities
- Explicit sexual content or pornography
- Content depicting violence, abuse, or harm
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Spam, malware, or malicious content
- Content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates
Violation may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our discretion.
6. Community Gallery, Comments & Messages
When sharing photos to the public gallery, you grant other users the ability to view and comment on your work. You can remove your posts at any time. Be respectful in comments; harassment will not be tolerated.
The same conduct rules apply to direct messages, profile content, and quest submissions. Do not harass, impersonate, spam, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other users. Any user can report a post, comment, or message; we may review reported content and remove it, restrict messaging, or suspend the account responsible.
Share links. A shared critique link is an unlisted URL, not private storage. Anyone who has the link can open that critique. Revoke sharing from your account if you no longer want the link to work.
7. Quests, Credits & Pricing
Reviewr is currently free to use. Each account receives a daily allowance of critique credits that resets at 00:00 UTC, plus a one-time welcome allowance for new accounts.
- One credit is consumed per photo analysed, so a multi-photo upload consumes one credit per photo
- Re-critiques and portfolio analyses each consume a credit
- One follow-up question per critique is free; further follow-ups on the same critique are not available
- Entering quests is free and does not consume credits
- Quest entries may be displayed publicly, including on leaderboards. Rewards, bonus credits, and winner selection are at our discretion, and manipulating results (multiple accounts, uploading work you did not create, vote or score gaming) voids any reward and may lead to suspension
- Credits, vouchers, referral rewards, XP, and achievements have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may expire or be adjusted where they were granted in error or obtained through abuse
- We may change allowances or reintroduce paid credit packs in the future; material changes will be announced in advance. Any paid purchases would be processed securely via Stripe
8. Disclaimer
AI critiques are provided "as is" for educational purposes. We do not guarantee that following our suggestions will improve your photography or lead to any specific outcome. The service is not a substitute for professional photography education or mentorship.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reviewr and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
